More Hidden Sculptures in New Hampshire

Updated: Dec 1, 2020

If you haven't read my first blog about these creative beauties click this link.

While my daughter was visiting my parents my son and I decided to head out and try to find more of the metal sculptures hidden around Alstead. I did a little digging after the last post about these ok who are we kidding I did a lot of digging. I made a list of the ones people had found (only a couple listed the location) crossed of the ones we already found and headed out on our adventure.

We decided to start at the town line on our side of Alstead and go road by road until we found something or ran out of daylight.

We found so many! Many of which weren't even listed. We even accidentally came upon where the founding welder lives and runs his business, as well as, where he and his team work.

First we spotted this dog or maybe it's a wolf I don't know for sure but, that is a joy of art you get to decide for yourself.

A heron

These next three were located at his home.

If you like their work as much as I do contact them.

This woodpecker is one of my favorites so far. My great-grandmother and I used to sit on her porch and watch them.

Birds definitely seemed to be the theme for our day...

Zero? I don't really get this one but maybe one of you will.

With all the brush we couldn't get a good picture of this one sadly. My son says it looks like a moose but I am leaning more towards a horse. What do you see?

Then we kept finding flower bunches.

I'm thinking Wylie coyote and Roadrunner maybe.

A giant polar bear

Then we ended our trip outside of Alstead by going to the nearby Alyson's Orchard in Walpole NH where there are three confirmed sculptures by the Taylor group and a bison sculpture there that may be by them also.

The tree at their entrance sign

The bear that greets you on your way up the hill to the orchard

The giraffe at their playground

Lastly, the bison that you see on your way up to the orchard. As I said, this one I am not sure if it is from the same people but there is a sign in front of it. It is just too small for me to read.Either way it's cute and creative.

I hope you all enjoyed these as much as I do. I am sure there will be another post in the future after I find some more until then enjoy my other posts. I hope they inspire you to take your own adventure even if you only explore something new in your town.
